1 inch square · 300 DPI

1×1 Photo Maker

Create a 300×300 pixel square for a one-inch print, plus a centered 4×6 sheet.

A 1×1 photo is a generic ID format, not a universal passport standard.

Exact output size

One inch at 300 pixels per inch equals 300 pixels, so the single-photo download is 300×300 pixels. The sheet download remains 1200×1800 pixels for a standard 4×6 print workflow.

When to use it

Use this page only when a school, membership card, licence, employer or other receiving organization explicitly requests a 1×1 inch photo. “ID photo” does not describe one worldwide composition rule.

Steps

  1. Read the receiving organization’s current instruction.
  2. Upload an unedited photo and crop it square.
  3. Keep the face centred without cutting hair or chin.
  4. Download the single image or 4×6 sheet.
  5. Print at 100% and measure a test copy.

Limitations

This tool does not select a background colour, remove a background, measure the head or validate an application portal. It only controls ratio, pixels and print layout.
