Width and height from 10 to 100 mm

Custom Passport Photo Size Maker

Enter the required millimetre dimensions, crop to the matching aspect ratio, and export a 300 DPI single photo or centered 4×6 sheet.

Custom mode knows only the outer size. It has no verified biometric guide for your document.

How custom dimensions are converted

The tool converts millimetres to pixels using 300 pixels per inch and 25.4 millimetres per inch. For example, 35×45 mm becomes approximately 413×531 pixels. Rounding to the nearest whole pixel is necessary because a digital image cannot contain a fraction of a pixel.

Use an exact source specification

Do not copy a size from a random image or assume a country's passport, visa, ID card and driving licence all use the same format. Find the current instruction from the authority receiving the application, then enter its stated width and height.

Custom-size workflow

  1. Enter the width and height in millimetres.
  2. Confirm the aspect ratio changes in the crop area.
  3. Upload and position a suitable source photo.
  4. Generate the preview and read the output summary.
  5. Download the single photo or 4×6 sheet and verify its pixel dimensions.
  6. Measure a test print if a physical photo is required.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enter inches?

The custom controls accept millimetres. Multiply inches by 25.4 before entering the value.

Why is the pixel result rounded?

The exact conversion often contains a decimal, but pixel dimensions must be whole numbers. The tool rounds to the nearest pixel.

Can I make a size larger than the 4×6 sheet?

The controls are limited to 10–100 mm. A selected photo must still physically fit within the 4×6 output canvas.
