The tool controls crop ratio and output dimensions. It cannot verify identity, photo age, pose, expression, lighting, retouching, paper, studio details or every application-specific rule. Only the receiving authority decides whether a photo is accepted.
1. Agreement and operator
By using Passport Photo Template, you agree to these terms. The site is an independent web utility operated by the Passport Photo Template editorial team. It is not affiliated with any government, embassy, consulate, passport office, visa center or photo studio.
2. Permitted use
You may use the tool for lawful personal or business photo-sizing and layout tasks. You are responsible for having the right and permission to process each image, especially images of children or other people. Do not use the service to create false identity documents, impersonate another person, violate privacy, infringe intellectual property or break applicable law.
3. Local image processing
Uploaded images are processed in your browser and are not intentionally transmitted to our server. You are responsible for device security, backups and safely handling sensitive identity images. Generated files are provided directly to your browser; we cannot recover them after the page closes.
4. Sources and changes
We link to public official sources and review presets periodically, but application procedures can change without notice. A review date is not a warranty that the authority has made no later change. You must read the current instructions for your application before submitting or printing.
5. Synthetic demonstration asset
The optional demonstration portrait is AI-generated, depicts no real applicant and is supplied only to test the software interface. You must not submit it as an identity photo or represent it as a real person. Many authorities prohibit AI-generated or digitally altered application photographs.
6. Service availability
The site and content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We may correct, change, suspend or discontinue features. Browser extensions, content blockers, third-party CDNs, printer drivers and device settings can affect the result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for application rejection, missed travel, fees, reprinting, data loss, indirect damage or reliance on outdated third-party instructions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Site content and third parties
Our original text, design and code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Government names and linked materials belong to their respective owners. External links are provided for verification; we do not control external availability, policy or content. Advertising, if displayed, is not government endorsement.

10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The effective date appears at the top.
